Prayer at Asbury

Prayer Rooms

Asbury has three prayer rooms located on the campus. The Joy Building and the Grace Building have prayer rooms that are open with regular building hours. The prayer room in Five Points is primarily used by the Youth Ministry and is open with regular building hours.

Intercessory Prayer

There are several intercessory prayer opportunities at Asbury:

Our confidential Prayer Letter is sent out each week to a group of intercessors and includes requests from the weekend services, hospital visits, calls into the church and emails.

Small Prayer Groups meet each week to pray for the needs of specific ministries or for the church as a whole.

Requests are sent to a group of intercessors by email to facilitate more immediate prayer coverage.

Weekend Intercession

Our Altar Prayer Ministers provide prayer to those who need someone to prayer with them at our weekend services. Members of the ministry team pray for those who come up to the altar for prayer for physical, spiritual or emotional needs during a designated time at each worship service.
