111.1 is a starting point of a discipline and a way of life to help our church family grow in a living and vital relationship with God. As we covenant with Jesus Christ, we joyfully live as His disciples. We offer 111.1 to our church family as a baseline of our covenant by devoting weekly: 1 hour of worship, 1 hour of study, 1 hour of service, and . 1 the tithe. What is 111.1?

As we covenant with Jesus Christ, may we TRADE in our old life for a complete life with Christ. We offer 111.1 to our church family as a starting point for growing our relationship with Jesus Christ by devoting weekly:

111.1 – One hour of Prayer/Worship - Matthew 21:12-17
111.1 – One hour of Service - Matthew 25:14-30
111.1 – One hour of Study - Matthew 25:14-30
111.1 – The Tithe - Luke 21:1-4

Spiritual Gifts

The Service section is broken down by spiritual gifts and then by ministries.

The Definition of Spiritual Gift
Spiritual gifts are special abilities given by the Holy Spirit and distributed to every believer according to God’s design and grace for the common good of the body of Christ. Although all ministries may have more than one Spiritual Gift we have listed the gift that is most needed in a ministry area. Do not let this stop you if you feel led to serve in a ministry area.

“I want you to know about the gifts of the Holy Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:1

If you want to discover more about your spiritual gifts Asbury regularly offers Network to help you discover more about your Spiritual Gifts, Passions and Personality. The next class starts June 13, 2011, for four sessions from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. All ministry leaders and adults that have not taken or recently taken a class to discover their spiritual gifts, passion, and style for service.
